Node4 Win Cisco’s Coveted Innovation Award of the Year

Node4 has announced that they have been awarded Cisco’s Innovation Award of the year for the UK and Ireland. The award was accepted by Node4’s Managing Director, Andrew Gilbert in the annual Cisco Partner Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.

The global awards are given out by Cisco to recognise outstanding partner achievements throughout the year of 2006. Node4 won this award due to their work and innovative thinking behind hostTALK, their hosted telephony service which is built on Cisco’s CallManager.

Duncan Mitchell, Vice President for UK and Ireland for Cisco commented: “Node4 have seen 100 percent year-on-year growth throughout FY06. This was a major achievement given that at the same time they were busy establishing internal processes and had a string focus on brand awareness. Now that all the resources are in place, Node4 are set to really push their innovative hosted telephony service out to prospective customers.

Andrew Gilbert said: “We are extremely pleased with this award as it recognises all of the hard work Node4 has put in to get hostTALK up to the standard it is today. We are delighted to have been recognised by Cisco to be raising the standard of innovative technology in the UK.”

Node4’s hostTALK allows businesses of all sizes to communicate efficiently and cost-effectively using Cisco IP telephony. Cisco CallManagers are hosted in Node4's state of the art data centre and the customers' phones link into the system across a voice-enabled broadband network.

Duncan Mitchell added: “Node4 have already seen some big wins and it’s great to see that they have been able to actively target specific industries. We think FY07 is going to be a good year for us together! Congratulations on receiving the award, it is a coveted award and is much deserved!”
