O-bit Telecom helps raise over £600 for ‘Anna’s Appeal Fund’

Two O-bit Telecom employees, technical director Paul Cloudsdale and switch manager Suzannah Doyle, have helped to raise over £600 for ‘Anna’s Appeal Fund’ by undertaking a cycle route based on the second stage of last year’s Tour de France.

The gruelling course took the team nine hours to complete, starting at Monaco and finishing at Brignoles, France, 187km away. Along the route, the team climbed a total of 2,740 metres, suffered two crashes and one puncture, but still managed to beat their target time of ten hours.

“‘Anna’s Appeal fund’ means a lot to everyone at O-bit, as it was founded to help fund the treatment of one of our employees who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer,” explains Dave Breith, CEO, O-bit Telecom. “We want to help as much as we can, and we have additional fundraising events organised over the course of the year, including a charity bungee jump.”
