ONI Strengthens Public Sector Market Focus

ONI, the Cisco Gold Partner, has recently experienced substantial growth in its Public Sector division, realising a 176% year on year increase in revenue. The company says these figures, published in November 2010, position ONI as the 7th highest revenue generating Cisco Gold Partner for FY10 within the sector, climbing 18 places from 25th the previous year.

The news comes on the back of ONI securing a number of long term Public Sector contracts in addition to being awarded another year on the Cisco Public Sector Partner Program (PSPP).

ONI says the recent increase in market share combined with the inclusion on the PSPP, further demonstrates their ability to provide leading-edge, communications solutions into critical Public Sector markets, helping its customers realise the true potential today’s technology can offer.

Phil Cotterill, Head of Public Sector for ONI, comments “It is not until technology partners like ourselves truly understand the challenges our customers face, that we can deliver innovative and compelling solutions to help them achieve their organisations objectives.

Our wealth of expertise and experience combined with an unrivalled commitment to quality and an industry leading product portfolio, enable us to deliver the transformational solutions our customers require in today’s challenging times.

We are delighted with the continued growth we are achieving in this market and aim to further strengthen our position as the partner of choice for all UK Public Sector organisations.”

ONI’s recent contract wins in the sector include a 5 year contract to design, install and support a range of IT solutions across a UK Borough Council’s 57 Primary and Secondary Schools and delivering design, implementation and support services for an innovative crisis management communication solution for the UK Cabinet Office.
