Panasonic and iHub Launch Joint Hosted Proposition

Telephony
iHub and Panasonic Business have launched a joint hosted telephony offer, combining the latest range of Panasonic SIP Handsets with iHub’s BroadSoft based, geo resilient hosted voice platform.

The offer is being made available to the Channel and both companies say that it addresses a key need in the emerging hosted telephony market, namely a simple, straight forward offer that will appeal to both end users and the channel.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with Panasonic Business for this market leading proposition,” said Steve Day, CEO at iHub. “We have seen the requirement for bundled minutes decline as fast as the costs of minutes! This proposition is provided on iHub’s latest BroadSoft voice platform that is fully virtualised and geo resilient. With the addition of the Panasonic SIP handset brand, we truly believe we have a winning formula for our partners in the channel.”

Panasonic Group Sales Manager for the UK Bob Mercer (pictured), said, “The way telephony is bought is changing, with strong choices in traditional bundles or hosted solutions. Panasonic has developed a high quality SIP telephony range to meet the needs of this market and we believe that this collaboration helps do just that.”

The first offer will see a Panasonic HDV 130 Handset and the iHub Lite available from £5.50 per month on a 2 year contract.
