Panasonic Enhances Business DECT Range

Panasonic System Networks Europe has announced its’ new KX-WT115 entry level business DECT handset. The new WT115 has been designed as a fully functional, yet cost effective handset which supports a wide range of basic and enhanced features. The device is targeted at small offices, warehouses and retail environments amongst many other business and industrial applications.

Panasonic says the WT115 features an enhanced noise reduction function. This feature electronically lowers disruptive background noise levels, enabling users to distinguish telephone voice conversations more clearly in noisy environments. The noise reduction feature works by identifying the ambient background noise, filtering it, and then adjusting the receiving volume level automatically. In addition the option to plug in a headset to enable unrestricted hands-free operation allows continuation of any task at hand.

In keeping with the Panasonic DECT system the WT115 has also been designed to provide automatic hand-over between installed cell stations, thus enhancing coverage and giving true communication mobility even within large premises.

“The WT115 is proof that impressive things can come in small packages”, said Steve Gerrard, Country Marketing Manager PSNE, “the handset’s ease of use, design and audio clarity make it an outstanding and welcome addition to our market leading DECT range”. The Panasonic WT115 has a recommended retail price of £95.00 and is available immediately.
