Panasonic Knowledge Boost

Nimans’ resellers have been brushing-up on their IP knowledge as part of a two-day technical training workshop about Panasonic’s popular NCP comms platform.

The NCP 500/1000 learning programme took place at Nimans’ Manchester training academy and attracted resellers from as far as Wiltshire and Hertfordshire.

The emphasis was on VoIP functionality and Panasonic’s powerful Communications Assistant productivity suite as attendees learned about a host of key topics - from hardware and configuration to unified PC programming, integrated DECT functionality, basic programming and troubleshooting and maintenance.

The course, aimed at engineers who had either no systems experience or little or no knowledge of Panasonic systems, was voted a resounding success.

One Melksham-based dealer confirmed afterwards: “I’m relatively new to Panasonic and realised I needed to improve my product knowledge. It’s been a very worthwhile trip as I’m leaving with much more confidence and technical know-how that will ultimately help me clinch more sales. NCP is a lot more flexible than I thought it would be.”

The course started with the basics of setting up lines and extensions and then covered how to set up IP extensions/Trunks and SIP extensions/Trunks and DECT.

“Our training courses are specifically designed for resellers of all abilities,” confirmed Nimans’ Head of System Sales, Paul Burn. “2013 will see us continue to build on our reputation as a high quality training provider, equipping customers with the skills and technical know-how to embrace new markets and develop revenue. This is particularly important in an economic climate that remains very challenging.”
