Pennine Secures Platinum Status

MSPs
Data and telecommunications specialist Pennine Telecom has been named as a Platinum Partner by Avaya. The move has seen Pennine make a rare two stage jump in status within the Avaya Connect partnership programme. The Bury-based company was previously a Silver partner but due to the breadth and depth of its expertise and proven service excellence skipped Gold status to immediately secure Avaya’s top award.

Platinum Partner status was awarded after Pennine satisfied Avaya’s recently introduced Solution Expert designations in the fields of Networking, Mid-Market Unified Communications and Contact Centres. Criteria the company had to meet to secure these designations included proven credentials in sales, design and independently assessed customer satisfaction.

Commenting on the achievement of the Platinum Partner award, Pennine Telecom’s managing director Andrew Roberts said: “That we have been elevated from Silver to Platinum status speaks volumes not just about the strength and breadth of our expertise but the training and resources we commit to securing our proficiencies. Becoming a Platinum Partner will give our customers and potential customers even greater confidence in the quality of advice and service we provide across the spectrum of voice, data and unified communications solutions.”

In addition to achieving Platinum status Pennine also retained its Avaya Partner in Customer Excellence award. This demonstrates that the company has been identified as achieving notably higher than average ratings in customer satisfaction surveys.
