Pipex Sets Ambitious Target for Its New-Look Channel Program

Pipex has launched gokei, a major new channel program to provide referrers, resellers, systems integrators and strategic partners with opportunities to increase their revenues by using Pipex technologies. Pipex believes that its new look channel program will enable it to grow extensively and is targeting indirect sales to account for a significant portion of the company’s revenues by 2007.

Until now, Pipex has run separate channel programs – one for each arm of the organisation, which includes Nildram, Pipex Internet, Web Fusion, Donhost and 123-Reg.co.uk. With the integration of the divisions into the fabric of the company and an extensive portfolio of voice, broadband, hosting and managed services, PIPEX is now in a position to offer a refreshing and innovative channel proposition to prospective partners.

Angus Peacey, Channel Director at Pipex, explains, “The value propositions in the service provider market are now maturing and it is time for an advanced programs that empower the channel to realise higher margins by bundling services that they previously could not offer. Businesses and consumers are becoming more technology-savvy and understand the benefits of integrated voice and data solutions, as well as managed services. This means there is a huge opportunity for resellers and partners that target the SMB sector to add value to their portfolios.”

Partners signed up to the Pipex program are armed with technical assistance, selling resources, such as sales kits and dedicated administration, and PR and marketing support. In addition, Pipex will provide on- and offline education and, according to the level of partnership, bespoke training to ensure that sales opportunities are closed.
