Powerful Appointment at Emerson

Emerson Network Power has announced the appointment of Randy MacCleary to President for the Liebert business in EMEA.

MacCleary, with a degree in electrical engineering from the Ohio University (USA), started his career in Emerson Network Power as Applications Engineer, then became Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Manager for UPS products. The current job follows his role as Liebert Vice President and General Manager.

The new President will guide the company to strengthen its position as industry leader in Business Critical Continuity.

In his new function, MacCleary will consolidate Emerson Network Power’s foothold in the IT market, guiding the entire organization to enhance the value of Adaptive Architecture, the integrated platform of power and cooling solutions that allows customers to protect their datacenters, while safeguarding the environment (reduction of CO2 emissions) and saving on energy costs.

In detail, MacCleary will focus his strategies at European level on the development of partnerships with international vendors - such as IBM, Dell and HP - and the expansion of the IT Channel.
