Proact Awarded G-Cloud Framework Agreement

Proact has announced today that it has been appointed to the second phase of the G-Cloud framework. This ensures that public sector bodies across the UK can directly contract with Proact via the framework.

Proact is offering a range of services through the framework including its enterprise-class online file storage service, Probox. The cloud-based service will enable the UK public sector to securely share critical information without risk. It will further ensure that public sector employees can access and sync files across work teams and to their mobile devices automatically, instantly and continuously – anytime and anywhere. Proact is also offering Infrastructure as a Service, Software as a Service and Specialist Cloud Services.

Jason Clark, CEO, Proact UK, commented: “The government’s second G-Cloud framework is double the size it was when it launched and provides immense opportunity for the public sector. Through this framework, the public sector can take advantage of the benefits cloud computing can deliver such as data security and cost-effectiviness. Proact has been working with a significant number of public sector customers including local councils, central government, NHS and other branches of public services, providing cloud-based services that can improve how they work. Working with G-Cloud means we can continue our great work in this area.”
