ProtoCall One Signs Contact Centre Partnership Agreement with Alcatel-Lucent

ProtoCall One has signed a partnership agreement with Alcatel-Lucent, giving ProtoCall One accredited reseller status and adding Alcatel-Lucent’s contact centre solutions to its portfolio of communications solutions.

ProtoCall One already has extensive experience in implementing solutions provided by Genesys (an Alcatel-Lucent company), the industry’s leading provider of contact centre software. The company will now target both existing Alcatel-Lucent end-users and new customers in the telecommunications, finance and leisure markets with the OmniGenesys and OmniTouch offerings, as well as providing professional service support to organisations.

Faraz Khan, managing director at ProtoCall One, commented: “We are delighted with the partnership agreement with Alcatel-Lucent. As a company, ProtoCall One is renowned for its expertise in implementing and supporting Genesys solutions and we know Genesys is an excellent solution for contact centres. Combining these two class-leading solutions delivers an exciting package for our customers and prospects – we look forward to working with Alcatel-Lucent.”

Alcatel-Lucent’s OmniGenesys contact centre solution combines the power of the Genesys software suite with the OmniPCX Enterprise IP communications platform. Both products are highly regarded within the industry. Genesys software is used by all ten of the leading global telecommunication companies, with similar high levels of deployment across many other industries, while Alcatel-Lucent’s OmniPCX Enterprise has an installed base of more than 250,000 customers globally. With the combined OmniGenesys solution, contact centres can achieve lower total costs of acquisition and ownership, plus simplified integration.

Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch Contact Center Premium platform is aimed at contact centres that may not have the luxury of significant internal IT resources. Designed for ease of deployment and ease of use, the product brings the power of Genesys to a wider range of businesses at an attractive cost point, offering full multimedia capabilities via an intuitive visual management environment.

Nigel Jones, marketing & business development director for Alcatel-Lucent enterprise activities - UK & Ireland, added: “ProtoCall One has extensive expertise in the contact centre arena and an impressive track record deploying Genesys solutions. The new partnership will help introduce Alcatel-Lucent’s contact centre portfolio to a wider audience, allowing more organisations to transform their contact centre operations and become dynamic enterprises.”
