Proximity Plays a Blinder with Avaya

Proximity Communications plc has recently announced it is upgrading the existing voice communications and contact centre systems at Hillarys Blinds. The project will enable Hillarys to extend its established reputation for superior customer experience and high quality service, by utilising the many technical and business advantages of Avaya Aura UC and Contact Center platforms. The agreement also includes advanced support for the next three years.

“With this upgrade we’ll have a more resilient, high availability contact centre operation and be ready to introduce UC and expand Multimedia services both internally and externally,” commented Julian Bond, Head of Information, Communication, and Technology at Hillarys. “We believe Proximity has the expertise we’ve been looking for to make this a very successful investment in greater productivity, business continuity and customer satisfaction.”

“Hillarys is excellently placed to take full advantage of Avaya Aura, enabling faster and easier deployment of voice, video, messaging and presence services,” said Darren Boyce, CEO at Proximity Communications. “By enhancing its existing Avaya systems, Hillarys avoids disrupting existing workflows among the customer advice team, and keeps its costs under control.”
