QuesCom Launches GSM Gateway Across Europe

QuesCom, the leading European player in the GSM gateways for IP and ISDN environments, has launched the QuesCom 50 ISDN/GSM gateway.

The vendor says the QuesCom 50 offers businesses the ability to halve the costs of their phone bills and will pay for itself in just a few months by converting costly landline-to-GSM calls into cheaper GSM-to-GSM connections without comprising call quality.

The company adds that the QuesCom 50 is suitable for organisations with up to 50 users and offers companies affordable access to a range of advanced communication functions that would have previously been outside their budgets. For example, it allows users to send and receive SMS alerts - making it ideal for reminding colleagues about meetings, providing fast updates for remote or field workers and keeping in contact with customers.

Connection is said to be simple; the QuesCom 50 is compatible with all ISDN PBXs and, unlike other gateways, companies do not need to spend time and money on reprogramming their existing PBX. In addition, the QuesCom 50 can be installed and configured from a single PC, making it ready to use within a matter of minutes without causing disruption to communications networks.

Teddy Théanne, Sales Director for QuesCom, comments: "The QuesCom 50 is an ideal solution for small to medium companies looking to enhance their communications infrastructure while also making significant savings on their phone bills. By launching the QuesCom 50, QuesCom has dramatically lowered the cost of advanced unified communications - allowing a whole new set of companies to take advantage of functionality that will improve their customer services, keep colleagues in closer contact and reduce monthly phone bills - all with plug and play simplicity."

The QuesCom 50 has already been certified for the Alcatel Omni PCX Office within the Alcatel Application Partner Programme and is available immediately across Europe from a range of resellers and distributors including Tech Data AZLAN and Comstor.
