QuesCom Unveils New Mobility Services for Convergence Summit 2007.

QuesCom, the Fixed Mobile Convergence solutions designer, has announced the launch of the new version for QuesCom 300 & QuesCom 400 and will be unveiling the new features today at the Convergence Summit, Sandown Park, Esher.

The company says that in this brand new version, the employees benefit from advanced mobility solutions, whereas the company benefits from a high reduction of its telephony expenditures.

The QuesCom user receives all incoming calls and faxes onto a direct Unique Number. Indeed, for convergence purposes, all vocal, fax and SMS messages are now centrally managed in a single mailbox.

Quescom New Mobility Features

Thanks to this new version, interactions between employees are optimised and communication means are improved for employees on the move (internal on sites/company’s campus, or external).

All these features provide mobile workers with a better ease of use.

A single number called, all phones ring

Any call incoming onto the user’s Unique Number makes ring all the phone devices simultaneously (until 5 devices!). When the user takes the call from one phone, the remaining phones stop ringing.

Seamless voice call continuity

Without interrupting the call, the user can switch from one device to another, mobile or landline. A call that has been started on the mobile phone can be continued on the landline phone. This call toggle (manual or automatic) is transparent to the user.

An End To Roaming Costs For The Company

The new appliances QuesCom 300 & QuesCom 400 significantly reduce all costs of calls to mobiles from and to international recipients (roaming...).

GSM-WiFi handsets integration

The user who owns a dual-mode (GSM & WiFi) phone uses the QuesCom features on both modes. All calls can be switched from the GSM network to the corporate WiFi network allowing a cost reduction when possible.

Moreover, these new Mobility Services will enable the resellers and partners to target their multi-sited major accounts and companies having more than 10 mobile workers.
