Dartford based reseller Rainbow Telecom have recently acquired the maintenance base of Compass Communications in a deal worth £250,000. This latest acquisition has seen Rainbow’s installed base grow to over 1200. Speaking exclusively to Comms Business, Dave Corgat, MD of Rainbow who are part of the Concert Group commented;
“Through this acquisition we have increased our engineering and sales resource and added 300 Samsung systems to our installed base. We also bought a midland based LG resellers base in September of 2005 fuelling our company’s growth considerably. By taking on these additional clients our aim is to churn them to the latest IP systems and also sell them additional services such as calls and access.”
To assist Rainbow in the next stage of their development Fred Barton joins the team as Network Manager and will be responsible for significant growth plans. Fred is well known in the Channel following running his own Alcatel dealership (FutureCom) and working most recently for Rise Voice & Data.
