Ramsac Runners Raise £4500 for Charity

11 employees from the Surrey based IT solutions consultancy ramsac, were cheered on by crowds of on-lookers on Sunday 5th November as they raced the 10 kilometre cross country course around Loseley Estate in Guildford to raise money for the local children's charity CHASE.

The grounds of Loseley Estate saw nearly 1000 participants arrive bright and early on Sunday morning ready to run either the 4k or 10k race in aid of CHASE. CHASE is a local charity that is dedicated to offering a diversity of needs based care and support to life-limited children and their families.

Team captain and Managing Director of ramsac, Robert May, comments, "We are delighted to have raised a fantastic £4,500 for CHASE, they contribute so much to our local community and it is great to be able to give something back."

The Linford Christie of the ramsac team, Paul Mew, was the first of the ramsac team to cross the line with a time of 54 minutes and placed 174th overall.

May continues, "Raising money for CHASE is especially important to us, we have worked with them for many years and more recently, they have provided direct support to one of our own colleagues and his family. We hope that our donation can be used to help other families who find themselves in similar situations."
