Retell Adds New Applications for Sense

Retell the Sunbury on Thames call recording manufacturer has announced further additions to its Sense range including a new patented feature, new extension matching products and entry level price changes.

The company says that Sense Essentials, the entry level Retell recording interface has been reduced in price yet still offers resellers the benefit of an easy upgrade path, largest number of channel choices and all the value added options required to satisfy the smallest SME to the largest multi site enterprise. One of the optional features is a live wallboard giving even the smallest company quick and accurate information on company performance.

A new product in the range, Sense Call Analyser Pro offers extension matching, extension name and number details, a new wave form player with the ability to select a part of the call, colour code and label it saving customers valuable time and effort. Call clips can also be exported from their encrypted format, attached to an e mail and sent on for replay on any PC with a media player.

Retell believes that their newly named Sense Call Analyser Enterprise with its integrated call management is well established as a proven system that changes business performance and rapidly returns the customer’s investment. To further enhance the product Retell have added an automated rolling wallboard view of company activity, coloured activity tiles that flash when a pre-set parameter is reached (e.g. 20 missed calls) and a web cam/link to website within the wallboard.

All products in the Sense ISDN range have many bolt-on, profitable options, including a live wallboard, a Voice Firewall to protect a PBX against the increasing threat of system hackers, plus stop/start recording via DTMF which helps companies comply with PCI credit card regulations. In addition Sense has the option for users to greet their incoming callers with a customisable ‘your calls are being recorded announcement’, something that Retell find to be one of the most often asked questions they face and a requirement in some European countries.

Retell’s CLI Decoration, a feature that for some time has enabled them to offer customers 100% call matching by placing a unique marker on calls that do not present their CLI, has recently been granted a patent. Steve Cobley, Head of Business Development at Retell said, ‘A customer would expect his calls to be matched wouldn’t he? Yet we know of companies that offer up 3 calls to choose from! Sense CLI Decoration overcomes this and problems associated with phantom trunks”.

Cobley continues with a note of caution, ‘There is a trend towards ‘box shift’ call recording which has many pitfalls. The Retell Sense recording interface is used throughout the entire range, its established as the recording engine to leading PBX and call management suppliers and offers customers a secure unit, housed safely in a PC, with easy channel upgrade paths, easy serviceability and the largest choice of channel counts in the industry. The customer need never buy a recorder bigger than their requirement yet they can feel comfortable knowing expansion and the addition of unique features is easily possible’.
