RingCentral Launches Global Office in Europe

RingCentral is opening up the global market to the Channel by launching RingCentral Global Office in Europe. It is also expanding local support for its Developer Programme as part of the open Connect Platform.

RingCentral Global Office offers a single global Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution designed for multinational businesses. Connecting workforces across multiple countries, RingCentral Global Office reduces the complexity and high costs of maintaining multiple, legacy on-premise PBX systems with a single cloud solution.

Capabilities such as user control, roles and permissions, and cloud contacts can now be managed from a mobile device, allowing IT staff to provide remote support for local and international users.

John Marlow, Managing Director - EMEA at RingCentral, says: “With the realities of a global and mobile workforce distributed across multiple offices, often in different countries, enterprises need a flexible, mobile-centric unified communications solution that fosters a collaborative working environment and scales globally. With the launch of RingCentral Global Office in the UK, local businesses now have the tools to communicate reliably and effectively across multiple global offices for a single monthly cost.” A number of British companies have been using RingCentral for multinational business communication services. Among these companies is UK-based attraction ticket retailer, 365 Tickets. Ross Coupland, Domain Relationship & UX Systems Manager at 365 Tickets, says, “Our business relies on regular contact with ticket suppliers, international licensed partners and our worldwide customer base. As our business continues to scale up and grow internationally, a global and cost-effective communications solution is essential.”

RingCentral is also expanding support for the RingCentral Developer Programme in the UK. The programme extends RingCentral’s cloud communications solution by providing APIs that support voice, fax and many other capabilities, including WebRTC. The programme is designed to provide developers access to APIs that allow businesses to seamlessly integrate communications logic into applications and third-party cloud services. The Application Gallery allows software developers to participate in RingCentral’s application ecosystem and list their offering alongside existing integrations including Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Office 365, and Google.

Sahil Rekhi, Director of Product Marketing EMEA at RingCentral, says: “People want technology that works for them in the way that they work, rather than forcing them to change. The RingCentral Connect Platform provides an open and global environment for developers to easily integrate with other applications and optimise business process workflows using our APIs and SDK.”
