Voice and data telecoms distributor, Rocom has launched a new Managed Service Offering for Panasonic at a Dealer Workshop in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
Discussion focussed on the unique support and services package that Rocom can provide to augment its role as a leading Panasonic distributor. A key point of interest was Rocom’s new Virtual Access Router combined with network options available from Rocom’s Network Services division.
Rocom say the Virtual Access Router is a key differentiator in their Panasonic support proposition and has recently been certified by Panasonic as fully compatible with their VoIP systems. The workshop demonstrated how Rocom can (through its Easy IP initiative) offer dealers a simple bundled solution of remotely programmed routers, broadband link, certainty regarding voice quality and a dedicated support desk – the big idea being to make it easier for dealers to deliver the potential that IP has to offer.
Kelly Maynard, Panasonic Brand Manager at Rocom commented – “We are delighted with the high attendance at the workshop and really encouraged by the positive feedback and enthusiasm we’ve seen from our dealers. The services that Rocom offers to Panasonic resellers provides a fantastic supporting infrastructure to help IP technology become more ‘understandable’ and the benefits easier for dealers to sell. We very much look forward to holding similar events in the future.”
Stephen Gerrard, Marketing Manager at Panasonic UK commented – “it’s great to see Rocom supporting dealers who are trying to move into new technology with their Managed VoIP Service Offering. We’ve tested the Virtual Access Router with our telephone systems and are confident that resellers can use it to ease their path into IP telephony. The managed service provided by Rocom is a great way of building confidence.”
