Rocom Avaya Roadshows Hailed a Success.

Attendance at Rocom’s Avaya launch roadshows demonstrate the popularity of Rocom’s recent partnership with Avaya.

Rocom say their roadshows were unique to the channel - presenting a revolutionary support proposition that has been developed in conjunction with, and monitored by, Chaucer Channel Services Ltd consultancy, to ensure that reseller’s expectations are exceeded. Attendance was not only impressive in quantity, but also quality.

Kevin Harrison, Head of Rocom’s Avaya Business Unit said: “From the success of these roadshows, it is evident that resellers have been waiting for a distributor to step up to the challenge of providing a comprehensive support infrastructure that will allow them to successfully introduce Avaya systems to their portfolio. Rocom’s Total Distribution support is not a gimmick. It transforms what historically might have been a long-winded and expensive choice for resellers into a straightforward and profitable one from the offset and throughout the relationship.”

The roadshows were held at Stirling Castle, Avaya Headquarters in Guildford and Manchester’s Old Trafford.

The Rocom Dedicated Business Unit was supported by Neil Moulton, Managing Director of Chaucer Channel Services Ltd consultancy. Support elements that proved most popular were the marketing services and the fast track on-boarding programme that includes technical support, training and immediate access to maintenance and engineering support (via Servassure) to enable resellers to hit the ground running, working in true partnership with Rocom.

Rocom will continue its recruitment assault with reseller training events and Executive Briefing sessions at Avaya’s Headquarters in the South.

According to an independent report from global analyst firm Canalys released in March, Avaya is the number one provider of communications solutions for small businesses – companies with 100 or fewer employees – in North America and Europe combined. Therefore, the combination of Rocom’s Total Distribution support and Avaya’s SMB solutions make for an exciting proposition that dealers are finding hard to ignore.

“We expected demand to be high, but the Avaya launch has been one of most successful product launches Rocom has seen.” Kevin Harrison commented.
