Rocom & NEC Launch New MyCalls Desktop Application with Webinar

Leading distributor Rocom has announced the launch of the new MyCalls Desktop Call Control and Screen-Pop application from NEC with a successful webinar event.

The latest addition to NEC’s successful MyCalls package, MyCalls Desktop gives users access to a wide range of features direct from their PC. Advanced screen-pops can be transferred alongside calls and fully integrated with a CRM system to display a variety of information such as customer contact details, account status and credit limits. A range of CRM systems are supported including MS Outlook, Act! and Goldmine, whilst a custom integration tool is available for bespoke databases. The package also features sophisticated call control functions, and unique "one touch” shortcut buttons for common programs, websites, pricelists, directions or anything else that usually takes much longer to navigate to.

The application also features an advanced Busy Lamp Field function – allowing staff to view detailed availability status on all SV8100 users.

Simon Hughes, Dealer Account Manager for NEC, presented the webinar and confirmed: “MyCalls Desktop is a great product for both resellers and end-users. End-users will benefit from an advanced suite of features and benefits, whilst it gives resellers a reason to go back and talk to existing accounts as it is fully compatible with all current versions of MyCalls on the SV8100 – as well as being a great stand-alone productivity tool.”

The well-attended webinar was the latest in a series of successful events from Rocom and NEC. Andy Clark, NEC Business Unit Manager at Rocom, is pleased with these successes. He commented: “We’re delighted with the feedback we’ve received from our recent run of webinars. Only taking 45 minutes, they are an efficient method of interacting with our reseller community and we will be hosting more in the future.”
