Sennheiser Communications has launched the new Culture series of wired headsets designed to provide a cost-effective solution for UC deployment applications. In common with other series in the Sennheiser business headset range (DW wireless series; Circle wired series), the new Culture series is optimised for use with Microsoft’s Lync UC solution.

Culture series launch models are the dual-sided SC 60 USB ML and the single-sided SC 30 USB ML, both with USB connection. The ergonomic design of the new Culture Series provides all day wearing comfort with HD voice clarity sound for UC business applications.
Crucially like all Sennheiser headsets designed for professional business use, the Culture series incorporates unique ActiveGard technology, which detects unsafe audio levels and compresses the signal within milliseconds. ActiveGard doesn’t just reduce, but rather removes dangerous energy from an acoustic burst, eliminating the distortion from an excessive incoming signal and keeping the volume of a sound peak at a safe and comfortable level to protect the user’s hearing.
