IP PBX company ShoreTel has signed a new distributor relationship with Arc Technology. The new partnership will allow ShoreTel to grow its reseller channel into the SME IP telephony market.
Value added distributors and resellers across a range of sectors are key to the achievement of ShoreTel’s aggressive growth plans. The recent problems at Zultys opened up relationships with a set of well established partners experienced in the converged marketplace. Arc Technology is the first former Zultys distributor to formalise its partnership with ShoreTel, allowing the distributor to grow its own VoIP offering.
Geoff Gudgion, MD EMEA at ShoreTel comments, “ShoreTel is an innovative company, looking for strong partners to help grow its business across EMEA. The situation at Zultys has created a range of channel opportunities, which we are pursuing. Arc Technology offers a distinctive advantage in the SME space. Its route to market and relationship with resellers is strong, allowing ShoreTel to broaden the reach of its products in the competitive SME sector. We look forward to developing this partnership with Arc Technology and its value-added resellers.”
Mark Weatherill, marketing manager at Arc Technology continues, “Arc Technology was on track to sign a number of high quality VoIP VARs before Zultys collapsed and I know we will be equally successful with ShoreTel. With the excellent solutions ShoreTel have to offer, the relationship will be extremely successful”
ShoreTel maintains its focus on end-user customer satisfaction by only serving the market through accredited partners. Resellers working with Arc Technology will be invited to participate in ShoreTel’s training programme over the coming weeks. ShoreTel’s unique distributed architecture and ease of management enables a very rapid, effective accreditation.
