Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2000-2004. South West Communications Group grew by 15-20 percent during this period ensuring that they were included in the list for the second year running despite the awards being focused on a much larger area and this year including London and the whole of Southern England.
During the last 5 years South West Communications Group has expanded and now provides a complete communications solution including telephony solutions, voice and data networks and a range of internet services including broadband and server hosting,
Now in their eighth year the awards, organised by international professional services firm Deloitte’s, recognise and commend the fastest growing and most dynamic technology companies in seven regions across the UK and Ireland.
Commercial Director Harry Langley said: “We are delighted to have maintained our listing in this prestigious award programme especially because we competed with a much larger region including technology based businesses in London and the South East.
“We have consolidated last year’s growth which was based on the launch of our subsidiary SWISP (South West Internet Server Provider) and our talkiP product, a networked IP telephony product for organisations with multiple remote sites and dispersed employees. The Data Centre, which is based at our Exeter Offices, has also contributed to our growth. We can provide businesses with server hosting facilities and a possible expansion of the Data Centre in the future is planned to meet the growing demand

South West Communications employs 120 staff and has doubled in size within the last five years experiencing growth of around 15 per cent in 2005 and with an estimated turnover of £15 million by the end of its financial year.
