Harry Langley, managing director of South West Communications Group received the award from Hetti Barkworth-Nanton, commercial director of award sponsor Openreach, and said: “This is the first time we have won an award from the Federation of Communication Services and we are delighted that our project at North Bristol NHS Trust caught the judges’ attention. It is a true honour to be named Communications Provider of the Year and bears testament to all the hard work our staff and partners have put into this unique solution.
Dave Dadds of DRD Communications and chairman of the award judging panel commented: “Well done to Harry and his team at South West Communications. This year we had a higher standard of entry than ever before across a wider sector of products and services, it certainly made the judges work hard in deciding the winners.”
A runner-up award was made to Timico.
