SpliceCom Announce Wider Applications Portfolio

UK based IP communications vendor SpliceCom has made a number of new announcements at their reseller roadshows which took place this week at venues in Leeds and Henley-on-Thames.

UK Sales Director Graham Harris told more than 90 resellers attending the events that SpliceCom were beginning to dominate the IP PBX market in the UK with, according to the MZA figures he showed, a 16% market share.

The new product and application announcements were designed to expand SpliceCom’s ability to address an even wider range desktop requirements and included the launch of the PCS 100S, a new display phone with a 2-tier menu and call timer and wrap up feature added, that will eventually replace their PCS100.

Resellers were also shown a first view of the new PCS 60, a highly personalisable softphone and the SpliceCom Microsoft OCS gateway/Communicator desktop client.

SpliceCom are also expanding their application portfolio with a Microsoft OCS Integration and the launch of Callmedia4maximiser. The company is also introducing Total Control & Total Network where hosted, web based applications will be available for resellers to provide their customers on a monthly fee basis.

Mobility was a key theme throughout the SpliceCom road show event and here the company is using their Microsoft OCS Communicator and Total Control User Web Portal to leverage the flexibility of their maximiser platform.
