SpliceCom Launch SpliceNet with Support Span

SpliceCom has announced a joint installation and maintenance initiative for their UK channel partners with industry specialists Support Span.

In order to deal with the extra demand from their UK channel partners, which has been partially fuelled by an impressive 83% Q.3 growth in IP handset sales, SpliceCom is joining forces with 3rd party installation and maintenance specialists Support Span to deliver SpliceNet Managed Services.

SpliceCom's relationship with Support Span goes back a long way, with the latter making trained engineers with maximiser support capabilities available to SpliceCom's channel partners for a number of years. Whilst this produced traction with SpliceCom resellers, particularly so in the area of INDeX migration, the new SpliceNet Managed Services offer provides a more focused approach towards maximiser support.

"Support Span has been in business for eight years," said Managing Director, Rick Pearce. "Our heritage is in 3rd party telecom support services, however, in recent years we have made a considerable investment in the development of data networking skills. This has allowed us to continue to embrace traditional values, whilst providing wrap-around support services for the converged solution sales that resellers are now focussing on. As such, we're very excited to be widening our support for maximiser through the introduction of SpliceNet Managed Services."

"Support Span's SpliceNet Managed Services offer delivers some unique propositions in the maintenance market," stated Graham Harris, UK Sales Manager for SpliceCom. "Supplying an excellent level of service and support to our channel partners, SpliceNet Managed Services will allow our resellers to fully exploit the forthcoming developments on our maximiser platform during 2009. We're looking forward to working closely with Rick and his team to deliver even higher satisfaction levels to our channel and their customers."
