swcomms puts the Exeter Chiefs Community team on the road

Exeter Chiefs Community team has taken delivery of two vans thanks to the club’s main sponsor swcomms.

The team collected the keys for the vans at swcomms’ headquarters, in Exeter, from managing director Brian Lodge and commercial director Jon Whiley.

Jon said: “We have supported the work of the community department since its inception. We understand the important contribution they make to promoting and supporting grassroots rugby. These vans ensure the team can easily visit schools, clubs and other organisations in our region to continue their terrific work.”

swcomms also services and insures both vans as part of their sponsorship package.

Exeter Chiefs Community department runs multiple social change and social engagement programmes working with a huge variety of people from across the local community. In addition, they also run their hugely successful match-day experiences, as well as community camps and clinics to help those already involved in the game.

Andrew Dudley, Exeter Chiefs Community development manager, said: “It is fantastic to have the continued support of swcomms in helping to drive the club’s community department forward. Their help provides us with a platform to reach the entirety of the South West and allows us to continue to carry out our work on all fronts.”
