Swyx now has 50,000 unified communications users in the cloud

Swyx has reached a milestone for its SwyxWare Datacenter Edition solution which now boasts 50,000 Swyx users equating to 10% of its overall customer base. The cloud-based version of its award-wining UC solution SwyxWare has been available since 2007 enabling users to benefit from an established UC solution with no compromise in terms of functionality, flexibility and ease of use.

Easy to deploy, future-proof technology for end-users

SwyxWare Datacenter Edition shares the same features as the company’s well-known CPE solution SwyxWare such as low investment cost and easy deployment. In addition to reduced administration, the user can also save on server hardware and installation costs. The UC solution is run via a service provider and allows complete scalability and flexibility for the customer. Different functionality can be assigned to different users and any new features can be added conveniently via a software update.

SwyxWare Datacenter – especially attractive for service providers

“With SwyxWare DC, service providers, telecommunications vendors, SaaS and hosting providers can invest in the market for hosted communications solutions with minimum investment. As a pioneer of unified communications in the cloud we already have established relationships with key European partners since 2007. There is still massive untapped potential for this market. Ten percent of the Swyx users currently use cloud-based UC functionality, this is still well above the average.” explains Dr. Ralf Ebbinghaus, Swyx Director of Sales, Marketing and Service.
