T-Mobile UK has appointed John Fannon as National Sales Manager for Independent Partners to oversee the launch of T-Mobile’s Independent Partner programme. Fannon will be responsible for ensuring that Independent Partners are best placed to capitalise on mobile voice and data solutions. T-Mobile will be making further announcements on the new programme at a series of briefing sessions in the first week of May, to which all Independent Partners have been invited.
Fannon has been at T-Mobile for over 11 years and brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to this appointment, he headed T-Mobile’s Business Partners Programme where he led the development and execution of T-Mobile’s independent voice and data channel from its initiation in 2003.
Commenting on his new role, Fannon said: “Independent Partners are an important pillar of T-Mobile’s business strategy in 2008. We will be looking to establish even closer, mutually beneficial relationships with those partners who can deliver value to T-Mobile. As the market for mobile communications, especially mobile data solutions, continues to grow we want to help our partners to make the most of the opportunities on offer. I look forward to building on our existing relationships and hope our Independent Partners will join us in May to discuss our plans for the future.”
