Telcordia ranked number one in service fulfilment, again

Telcordia, a developer of IP, wireline, and mobile telecommunications software and services, has announced that it has been named the global market leader in service fulfillment for a fifth consecutive year by industry analyst firm, Analysys Mason, formerly OSS Observer.

With 10% of the market share of a $2.3 billion segment, Telcordia remains an industry key provider of service fulfilment solutions.

The firm’s May 2010 report, Service Fulfilment Market Review, offers a detailed market share analysis of order management, inventory, activation and engineering tools with analysis by service (e.g. mobile, residential broadband, business services and PSTN) and geographies (North America, CALA, EMEA, and APAC). The report provides overall marketshare numbers for the leading suppliers, including Telcordia’s number one ranking, as well as each application segment.

“In a very dynamic, growth driven sector, Telcordia remains a constant as the overall global Service Fulfillment market leader,” said Mark Mortensen, principal analyst, Analysys Mason. “CSPs must fulfil increasingly complex service bundles and embrace next-generation technologies. That need presents an opportunity for the market leaders to provide solutions that helps CSPs grow their business and deliver a robust customer experience.”

Said Bill Wanke, president, operations solutions, Telcordia: “As the market leader, our top priority continues to be helping our customers realize the potential of sophisticated fulfillment to improve revenues and competitiveness. We continue to do that through innovative offerings that help CSPs evolve their networks, and add scalability and flexibility to efficiently roll out advanced, revenue generating services.”
