Telecomplete Acquires Poptel Technology

VoIP and Internet Service Provider Telecomplete has acquired Poptel Technology (Poptech), a London based web communications, design, content management and software development company, for an undisclosed fee.

Telecomplete offers converged ISP, mobile, wireless and VoIP solutions to over 300 Channel partners in the UK and internationally and also trades under the Mywebcalls branding. Poptech has worked with many corporate clients, NGOs and government departments on major web projects, including design and content management projects, developing major websites for international organisations, to web enabling databases for voluntary organisations.

The acquisition will further strengthen Telecomplete’s position as a converged solutions provider of choice for the UK Channel marketplace and creates a £4.5M turnover company and continues Telecomplete’s’ aggressive 100% year on year growth strategy. Telecomplete acquisition strategy is to strengthen and develop its converged solutions proposition; the addition of Poptech will allow for Channel Partners to not only have access to Telecomplete’s full range of converged services but also the methods to communicate their products and services online.

Mark Salvin, MD of Telecomplete comments ‘This is an exciting and excellent strategic development for Telecomplete and Poptech - representing a terrific opportunity for both companies. We are all confident that together will offer a service that is far greater than the sum of its parts - we really have an exceptionally compelling proposition for the UK Channel marketplace. The solutions we can now offer Channel Partners and customers has experienced a massive boost and we are excited to see just how far we can increase our reach into the UK market.’
