Telepo Launches FMC with first UK Partner - BrightCom

Telepo, a Swedish developer of business communications software, will launch its patented technology for mobile convergence solutions in UK with its first UK partner, BrightCom.

Telepo’s core product is the Telepo Business Communication Server, which effectively allows enterprises to integrate and eventually replace traditional land lines with mobile phones and IP-based voice solutions, providing a coherent set of services (independent of their service provider) and considerable savings. The vendor says Enterprises can make extensive cost savings, typically 30-60% on international calls and up to 80% on roaming calls, with a payback on investment of 6-9 months.

“The UK is a very important market for Telepo. Given our product offering and well-known FORTUNE 500 clients and partners we see the CMA conference as a great opportunity to formally launch in Britain. Through its broad expertise, BrightCom understands the UK mobile market well, and offers flexibility for customers in the way services are delivered, either as enterprise deployment or as a hosted service”, said Lars-Michaël Paqvalén, CEO and Founder of Telepo.

David Green, Managing Director of BrightCom, said: "We chose to partner with Telepo as it clearly leads this market in terms of innovation, capabilities, and, importantly, ease of use. Scandinavia has a long heritage, leading the rest of Europe in mobile telecoms services for the corporate market. Telepo offers an innovative platform that allows mobile working to be easily deployed in the most cost efficient way possible. It contrasts with other larger suppliers’ expensive proprietary offerings which tie customers to their own PBX environment."

In a recent study from Jeremy Green at Ovum on Fixed to Mobile Integration (FMI), Telepo was recognized as having “a good understanding of how enterprise requirements for integration between the mobile fleet and the corporate network are evolving.”
