TeleWare Competencies Lead to Gold

TeleWare, the provider of intelligent communication applications for hosted and on-premise solutions for businesses and service providers, today announced that it has been awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status.

"TeleWare plc is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for three competencies, networking infrastructure, customer development and data management, which means that they have demonstrated superior levels of successful implementations, capabilities and certification," said Natalie Ayres, Group Director, Small and Mid-market Solutions and Partners of Microsoft UK. "Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are required to meet rigorous requirements for certification and expertise,” added Ayres.

TeleWare’s telephony applications have been based on Microsoft technologies from their inception and TeleWare has always kept up to date with the latest Microsoft developments in order to bring the advantages of Microsoft at the desktop to its enterprise customers.

TeleWare was one of the first European companies involved in the Live Communications Server projects and, in response to the latest Microsoft developments, it is establishing a focussed team supporting Microsoft’s unified communications products. “Our aim is to provide our enterprise customers with a fully integrated Microsoft and TeleWare solution that will offer them the enhanced communications capabilities needed to create competitive differentiation in the market,” said Geoff Haworth, Founder and CEO of TeleWare. “This team will include TeleWare’s Microsoft Certified Professional developers; they will be tasked with adding value by integrating the TeleWare applications into the full range of enhanced communications offerings on the Microsoft roadmap. TeleWare will also provide interoperability with 3rd party legacy switches and IP systems,” added Haworth.

TeleWare will continue to enhance existing integration with Office Communicator, Office Communications Server, Exchange 2007 and also support future products, such as RoundTable. This strategy will be key for enterprise customers who are increasingly using Microsoft's enhanced communications tools but also require the telephony services that will deliver value from their voice communications. This will ensure the ability to use TeleWare's full suite of applications - including personal numbering, personal assistant, and its IVR development and business process integration tools - concurrently with the new Microsoft offerings.
