Telindus has signed a contract with BAE Systems to install the internal network and associated telephone and television systems on the aircraft carriers HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales, complimenting the hardware supply arrangements that have been ongoing since 2009.

Marek Lowther, Managing Director of Telindus, comments: “We are extremely proud of this contract and it is recognition of Telindus’ exceptionally high levels of expertise in the defence sector. Telindus prides itself on its strong working relationships with the Royal Navy and BAE Systems and this contract is the culmination of many years of planning and design. We very much look forward to embarking on the next stage of this prestigious and exciting build.”

David Marley, Supply Chain Specialist at BAE Systems Maritime Naval Ships, said: “The Telindus offering represents a cost competitive, technically capable solution that offers the flexibility needed to operate in a maritime environment.”
