The SpiriTel Team Tough it Out

Six brave volunteers from SpiriTel Plc - Jonny Shanmuganathan, Jon Singleton, Lee Hunwick, Sarah Brazier, Andrew Booth and Kelvin Saunders - will take on one of the toughest charity events in the UK, the 15 Peaks Challenge. The challenge requires a great deal of grit and determination, as participants need to complete all 15 of the highest peaks in the Snowdonia National Park including the infamous Grib Goch (pictured) in the dark and all within just 24 hours.

However, the SpiriTel team are more than prepared to battle their way through the 4am start, some 30 miles of mountainous terrain, with over 14,000 feet of ascent and descent, the variable weather and even the blisters, all in aid of their nominated charity, HOPEHIV.

Having been committed supporters of HOPEHIV for the past 4 years, the company are always keen to find new and exciting ways in which to support the charity’s hard work. HOPEHIV work tirelessly to improve the lives of children and young people in Africa whose lives have been changed by AIDS/HIV. For the past 2 years, the money which SpiriTel have raised (now well over £20k) has been financing the Project Gateway School of Fashion, in South Africa. The project is now well established, with graduates succeeding into various different walks of life, including starting up their own small businesses, going on to become teachers themselves, and even going on to study further at Business School.
