Tim takes on his new role following eight successful years with the company.
Having originally joined the company in a sales capacity, Tim has had a multitude of roles at Tempest. His responsibilities have included account management and product development, and two years ago was promoted to the board.
In his new role as Business Development Director, he will be working primarily in a sales-focused role, looking for opportunities in both existing and new accounts.
Working closely with new Managing Director Rob Sims, Tim says he is looking forward to taking the Tempest brand forward and unleashing a new set of products to the IT and technology community.
Prior to joining Tempest Tim worked in the IT industry in software solutions and hardware sales. He will be drawing on skills from these previous roles as he helps to develop Tempest’s new portfolio.
“This is an opportunity to draw on all of my experience and help assert Tempest as a leader in its field,” he said.
“For the eight years I have been with the company, we have been predominantly a billing house, but with the recent changes, including the addition of wholesale communications products and developments in software, we are in a unique position to drive forward more services via a new matrix approach.
