Timico Appoints New Channel Marketing Manager

Timico, the independent business internet service provider, has announced a new appointment which will further boost the company’s channel presence and its reach into the UK small and medium sized business market. Commencing from today, Nadine Haworth has been appointed to the newly created role of Channel Marketing Manager reporting to Suzie Warren, Head of Marketing at Timico.

In her new position, Nadine will take full responsibility for all aspects of marketing Timico’s partner programme, from the recruitment of new partners and resellers through to the wide range of marketing activities needed to boost the sales effort of both Timico’s channel sales team and its existing partners.

Timico offers a wide range of communication services through its partner programme including fixed line and IP voice solutions, broadband connectivity, IT services, hosting and web solutions, managed homeworking and mobile services, all of which offer significant earning opportunities in the way of one-off and ongoing revenue share.

Nadine brings over eight years’ marketing experience to her new role and joins Timico from Serif (Europe) Ltd where she was Marketing Communications Manager. Prior to this she held EMEA marketing positions at Microsoft, including day-to-day management of their Windows embedded partner programme.

“I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead at Timico. One of the most exciting aspects for me is the variety of things I will be getting involved in, from acting as a marketing consultant to partners, supporting them in developing new business opportunities, to helping further develop the online portals available to business partners and their customers. I have the chance to combine all the marketing skills and knowledge I have accrued over the years to really enhance Timico’s presence in the channel and hopefully further afield,” says Nadine Haworth.

Chris Tombs, Chief Executive at Timico, comments: “Nadine’s familiarity with the channel and her considerable marketing experience in the IT sector will be invaluable in her new role with us. Over the last year, we have seen a considerable shift towards the sale of IP services amongst our channel partners, so she is ideally suited to supporting all partners who are interested in growing their businesses through our fully converged communication services.”
