Varlink Takes DataVan to UK Market

York based IT distributor Varlink has added DataVan to its portfolio of EPoS vendors, introducing the Taiwanese manufacturer to the UK market.

Varlink will soon be distributing the DataVan Glamor and Bravo ranges of EPoS Terminal, offering a reliable, powerful and stylish solution to UK resellers in both the retail and hospitality sectors. The bezel free Glamor and the entry level Bravo offer easy service and maintenance with innovative field replaceable modular engineering and cable free technology.

Both terminals are resistant to dust and spills and the fanfree design of the Glamor series ensures low energy usage, reducing the total cost of ownership for the end user.

Varlink Managing Director Mike Pullon said, “We have worked hard to find an established manufacturer capable of providing us with reliable and well specified products backed by the commercial understanding and flexibility required to enable us to establish their brand in the UK.

“After long and detailed discussions I am delighted that we have entered into an agreement with DataVan that will see us distribute their EPoS terminals to retail solution providers in the UK and Ireland.”

Head of DataVan Jarry Ku said, “As the demand for our state-of-the-art products increases it is vital we partner with an experienced local distributor in Varlink. After thorough discussions with Varlink we are sure they will be the perfect distribution partner in UK and Ireland. We look forward to working with Varlink and our goal is to bring a great product selection with future-proof technologies that exceed customers’ expectations.”

The DataVan EPoS terminals will be available with 15” resistive touch or true-flat glass projective capacitive touch screens and with a range of Intel processors to suit an array of technical and budget requirements. Both series of terminal also come equipped with comprehensive I/O connectivity options capable of coping with today’s EPoS requirements as well as future developments.
