VIP VoIP Targets Channel with 'Quality over Quantity' Message

Wholesale hosted telephony platform provider VIP VoIP is expanding its operations and looking to recruit 20 more channel partners in 2018.

The Sheffield based business is targeting resellers who would like to have access to a platform that provides a lot more flexibility than they have now with their existing hosted partner.

Mathew Dale, Sales Manager at VIP VoIP stated, “Most hosted offerings struggle when it comes to things like integration or bespoke solutions. It’s usually one flavour fits all with the focus on achieving volume sales. What makes VIP VoIP different is we can adapt the base solution around any application, allowing the customer to get exactly what they want, rather than 70% of what they want”

The business intends to add 20 new partners in 2018, focusing on quality rather than high volume.

Mathew continues, “we didn’t want to over-distribute the service like other hosted platform suppliers. Our resellers want something that is going to add a differentiator to their offering, rather than adopt an “us too” approach.

The platform is offered on a wholesale basis, where resellers can administer and add new customers via a simple to use web portal. Resellers can also brand the portal should they want to provide admin access to their customers. Prices start at £3.00 per seat per month.

Darren Jacob, Director of Southampton based IT solutions company, Fourth Pillar says, “We have been reselling the VIP VoIP platform for four years now, we like it due to its multi-tenanted architecture and the ability to customise each solution if needed. Each customer is built within their own environment and are not affected by any platform wide upgrades”
