Virtual1 enhances new Accreditation Programme with launch of Seminar Series

Network operator Virtual1 has today announced the launch of a Partner Seminar Series which will take place this summer. The series will be available exclusively to Virtual1 Partners and will cover a range of hot issues for the Channel, including the impact of Cloud Computing, IPv6, the growth in demand for 100% SLAs and new opportunities surrounding SIP.

Managing Director Tom O’Hagan said “I am delighted to be launching this new seminar series, an event which I hope will become an annual date in the diary for our Partners. At Virtual1, we are deeply committed to providing the best levels of support and guidance to our Partners, and that includes taking every opportunity to share knowledge and experience with them.”

The seminars will be held in Virtual1’s private box at Epsom Downs Racecourse and will coincide with the Epsom Live series, which combines race days with live music concerts in the evening. O’Hagan continued “We’re taking a different approach to the way we support and train our Partners. We will of course continue to run our regular training sessions as part of our Partner Programme, but the aim of this series is to provide an informal, relaxed environment in which to discuss and analyse some of the key technological concerns facing businesses today.”

The seminars will be led by Virtual1’s senior management team with additional participation from key Virtual1 suppliers including Teleware, BT, Gamma and Juniper. O’Hagan concluded “We have some of the leading figures in telecommunications joining us to share their views and opinions on what’s happening in the industry and how our Partners can take advantage. It’ll be a fascinating and insightful series and I look forward to hearing the thoughts and opinions of our Partners.”
