Cirencester based Cisco distributor Comstor is set to merge their operations with Westcon. Comstor, which in the past operated as a very separate entity within the Westcon Group, has in recent times become closer and described itself as a division within the group. Both distributors operate on a global scale.
An official announcement is expected from the companies shortly.
Issues surrounding personnel, products and locations are still to be announced though it is understood that Westcon, in their present form, will immediately begin selling Cisco product to their channel partners.
