Simonsen has recently moved from Crane Telecommunications after six years with the company - for the last two years he held the position of Avaya ECG Product Manager, where he was responsible for delivering many successful Avaya-based communication programmes.
His appointment extends Westcon’s focus on delivering convergence solutions for enterprise resellers across Europe based around Avaya Communication Manager call processing software. Simonsen will be responsible for ensuring resellers exploit the class-leading range of affinity vendors within Westcon’s VoicePoint programme, enabling resellers to offer their customers a complete solution from a single distributor.
