Recognised at the recent Extreme Networks Partner Conference in front of 250 partners from North America, Latin America, and EMEA – Westcon was acknowledged for an ability to drive Extreme Network's data centre and mobility solutions portfolio. This includes shipment of the flagship data centre BDX8 product.
Presenting the award, Extreme Networks Vice President of Global Channels and Partners Theresa Caragol noted that Westcon's success for on-boarding new and existing partners was crucial to the award: "Westcon has a deep understanding of our strategy. It's outstanding heritage and skills in the data networking space – plus a fantastic team – has yielded highly positive results."

The Extreme Networks conference served as a platform to articulate the company's strategy for the coming year – including new partner programs, as well as solutions messaging for data centre and campus environments.
