Westcon says that Douglas is a seasoned senior executive in the technology field, with particular expertise in the telecommunications and wireless markets. In his previous role as Chief Executive Officer of LLC International, he led the company to become the world’s largest independent wireless engineering professional services firm. He has held global, senior executive roles at both IBM and Motorola, where he managed industries such as distribution and telecommunications as well as worldwide business development.

During his tenure at Motorola where he served in a variety of capacities, Mr. Douglas developed new businesses in wireless data services and IP professional services; while at IBM, he substantially increased the company’s services revenues while serving as Vice President of its Telecommunications Industry sector.
