World Climate Change Summit calls on Swyx

Swyx was been chosen to provide its SwyxWare communications solution for approximately 20,000 delegates and heads of state from 120 different countries that are attending the 15th UN World Climate Change Summit which takes place between the 7th and 18th of December in Copenhagen.

According to strict criteria regarding ecological and security issues, Swyx was selected to supply its innovative IP-based communication system for all offices, conference rooms and media centres at the Bella Centre, where the event is being held. With SwyxWare, all Conference participants benefit from a secure, green and efficient communication solution as well as other advantages such as personalised voicemail and fax. In addition, SwyxWare reduces the overall telephone costs for the event, because all calls are transferred economically over the IP network.

"For example, if a UN colleague is travelling in New York or Bonn, the system automatically routes the call in the most cost-effective manner via mobile networks and Internet, thereby making cost-savings of up to 90%. In addition individuals can see instantly via the CRM system who is calling and what topics have already been discussed." says Peter Hammerich, Managing Director of SVAR Danmark, the certified Swyx partner responsible for the project.
