Yealink Launches New T4 Model

Telephony
Yealink (UK) has today bolstered its acclaimed T4x series with a new model.

The fully HD model supports three SIP accounts, IPV6, Open VPN and is certified compatible with many VoIP PBXs including 3CX, Asterisk, Broadsoft, Digium and Genesys.

Equipped with a 6cm (2.3”) backlit 132 x64 pixel graphical LCD display it offers direct IP calling without the need for a SIP proxy with other features including BLF, BLA, and three-way conferencing.

Explaining the rationale for the launch of the new model, Steve Watts, Yealink UK’s general manager, said: “There is a growing market appetite for what you might label a well-equipped workhorse, a durable handset that marries reliability and performance with affordability.

“The TP40P fits that bill and, being a Yealink model, comes as standard with the kind of competitive price advantage that has become synonymous with one of the world’s largest and most highly respected SIP telephony brands.”

The new model is the first to be launched since Yealink UK announced it would now cover all its latest generation SIP, DECT and conferencing models with a lifetime guarantee. Announced earlier this month the pledge now means handsets purchased through an official Yealink (UK) distributor or ITSP partner will be replaced if faulty up to 12 months after it reaches its official end-of life. As well as the TP40 it embraces all other models in the T4x series - T41PN, T42GN, T46GN and T48GN – plus the award-winning CP860 conference phone, W52H and W52P DECT phones, EXP40 expansion module and the recently launched T27PN & T29GN handsets.
