Young Talent Recognised at UKFast

Hosting and cloud firm, UKFast, has promoted two of the youngest members of its team to senior positions in the Manchester firm, demonstrating the company’s investment in young talent.

Due to the phenomenal growth of the company and development of the UKFast ‘Academy’ to train new sales and account managers, former Head of Account Management Charlotte Bentley-Crane has been promoted to Director of Account Management. Bentley-Crane joined UKFast in 2009.

The company’s management accountant, Joe Ryland has now taken the helm of the UKFast accounts team in his new role as Financial Director, taking a place on the board after just 4 years with the firm. Joe is a CIMA qualified, Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and an internationally-recognised Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He is also a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).

Ryland and Bentley-Crane are 25-years-old.

Lawrence Jones, UKFast founder and CEO, said: “We look for superstars at UKFast, regardless of age or experience – people who are passionate, pro-active, caring and forward-thinking and want to be the very best that they can be. I’m a firm believer in nurturing talent from within to grow a business in the right way. The progress that both Charlotte and Joe have made in the past 4 years shows that we’re doing the right thing for UKFast and our clients.”
