Pennington brings with him over 20 years specialist knowledge of voice, data and wireless network services and systems integration. He joins the Product Management team at Zen, bringing an increased focus on developing new voice services that will be key in Zen’s evolution from ISP into a converged services provider with a full portfolio of internet, data, voice and hosting solutions.
Prior to joining Zen, Pennington worked for Azzurri Communications as a Networks Specialist responsible for bringing to market ‘Azzurri Broadband’ providing wireless internet access to the city of Hull. This allows local businesses to adopt technologies such as voice over IP.
Other previous experience includes network deployment and redesign, tender production, cost reduction, Account and Project Management for a number of key communication providers, including Kingston Communications, Nexus Telecommunications and GPT (Now Siemens Business Communications).
