SAP celebrates graduation of first Partner Talent Initiative cohort

Training
The first two cohorts of SAP’s Partner Talent Initiative graduated yesterday (October 18).

The SAP Partner Talent initiative was launched in June this year and received 1500 applications. It is designed to attract, train, and certify new SAP consultants.

The graduation featured stories from some of the newly qualified consultants as well as a panel discussion about opportunities for new consultants and partners.

Rohit Nagarajan, president for EMEA North, SAP, explained, “Partners play a vital role in delivering value to our customers. We’ve been working very closely with our partners to understand what they need to help in creating success for our joint customers.

“The Partner Talent Initiative is focused on creating sufficient capacity in the market of high value SAP skills, trained and accredited by SAP directly – that our partners can benefit from. So, if you’re a partner looking for trained and certified consultants, we have some great people we’d like you to meet.”

Future cohorts will focus on a range of areas, including SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA. SAP said its partners play “a big role” in the company’s success, so this initiative helps ensure partners have the qualified employees they need to serve and satisfy customers. This helps SAP, the partner, and the customer.

An additional schedule of cohorts is running now, and others are planned for the remainder of 2022 and into Q1/Q2 of 2023.
